TOM (V.O.)

TOM (V.O.)
I knew I had to do something. I couldn’t let them hurt her.

Tom jumps down and runs around to the back of the building. He sees a friendly ghost, JIM, floating nearby.

TOM
Jim! I need your help.

JIM
What’s the matter, Tom?

TOM
Sarah’s in trouble. The ghosts have captured her.

JIM
I’ll help you. But we’ll need a plan.

Tom and Jim huddle together and whisper.

CUT TO:

INT. APARTMENT BUILDING – NIGHT

Tom and Jim sneak through the halls, avoiding the ghosts. They reach Sarah’s apartment and peek inside.

TOM (V.O.)
I could see Sarah tied up, surrounded by ghosts. I knew I had to act fast.

Tom and Jim jump into the room and attack the ghosts. A fierce battle ensues, with Tom and Jim using their supernatural powers to fight off the evil spirits.

SARAH
Tom! Jim! You came to save me!

TOM
We’re not done yet. We have to get out of here.

They untie Sarah and run out of the apartment, pursued by the ghosts.

CUT TO:

EXT. ROOFTOP – NIGHT

Tom, Jim, and Sarah run to the rooftop, where they are cornered by the ghosts.

TOM (V.O.)
I knew this was it. The final showdown.

Tom and Jim use their powers to defeat the ghosts, sending them back to the afterlife. Sarah looks on in amazement.

SARAH
Tom, how did you do that?

TOM
It’s a long story. But the important thing is that you’re safe now.

They embrace.

TOM (V.O.)
I may be a cat now, but I’ll always love Sarah. And I’ll always protect her, no matter what.

Reunited in the Afterlife

FADE IN:

INT. HAUNTED APARTMENT BUILDING – NIGHT

Tom, in his cat form, cautiously makes his way through the dark and eerie hallway of the haunted apartment building. He can sense the ghosts closing in on him and his love interest, Sarah. He meows softly, trying to communicate with her, but she only looks at him with confusion.

TOM (V.O.)
(whispering)
Come on, Sarah. We have to get out of here.

Sarah looks around nervously, not understanding what Tom is trying to tell her.

SARAH
What is it, boy? What do you want?

Tom jumps up onto a nearby table and knocks over a vase, revealing a hidden message underneath. Sarah gasps as she reads it.

SARAH
(whispering)
Oh my god. They’re coming for me.

Tom jumps down from the table and leads Sarah to a hidden room, where they hide from the ghosts. As they huddle together, Tom nuzzles Sarah’s hand, trying to comfort her.

TOM (V.O.)
(whispering)
I won’t let them hurt you, Sarah. I’ll protect you, no matter what.

Suddenly, the ghosts burst into the room, grabbing Sarah and dragging her away. Tom tries to fight them off, but he is no match for their supernatural strength.

TOM (V.O.)
(whispering)
Sarah!

FADE OUT.

FADE IN:

INT. HAUNTED APARTMENT BUILDING – DAY

Tom, now in his human form, stands in front of Sarah, who is staring at him in shock.

SARAH
Tom? Is that really you?

TOM
(smiling)
Yes, Sarah. It’s me.

Sarah runs into Tom’s arms, tears streaming down her face.

SARAH
(sobbing)
I didn’t understand before. I didn’t know what you were trying to tell me.

TOM
(holding her)
It’s okay, Sarah. I’m here now. I’ll always be here for you.

As they embrace, Tom begins to fade away, returning to the afterlife. Sarah is heartbroken, but she knows that their love will transcend death. The movie ends with a shot of Tom’s spirit watching over Sarah from the afterlife.

EXT. CITY STREET – NIGHT

The camera pans over a bustling city at night. The sounds of cars honking and people talking fill the air. The camera zooms in on a haunted apartment building, where we see a young man, JASON, walking towards the entrance. He is nervous and hesitant, but determined to enter the building.

INT. HAUNTED APARTMENT BUILDING – NIGHT

As Jason steps inside, he is immediately transported to another world, where he is reincarnated as a cat. He looks around, confused and disoriented, as he tries to make sense of his new surroundings. Suddenly, he hears a faint meowing sound coming from down the hall. He follows the sound and finds a group of cats huddled together in a corner.

CAT LADY (O.S.)
(whispering)
Hello, little one. Are you lost?

Jason looks up and sees an old woman, the CAT LADY, standing in front of him. She reaches down and picks him up, holding him close to her chest.

CAT LADY (CONT’D)
Don’t worry, I’ll take care of you.

Jason meows in response, still trying to adjust to his new form.

CUT TO:

INT. APARTMENT – NIGHT

Jason, now fully settled into his new life as a cat, is sitting on the windowsill of an apartment, looking out at the city below. Suddenly, he hears a loud noise coming from down the hall. He jumps down from the windowsill and cautiously makes his way towards the source of the noise.

INT. HALLWAY – NIGHT

As Jason turns the corner, he sees a group of ghosts floating towards him. He hisses and arches his back, ready to defend himself. The ghosts laugh and continue to float towards him.

GHOST 1
Look at the little kitty. He thinks he can stop us.

GHOST 2
Let’s show him what we’re made of.

Jason backs up, trying to find a way out. Suddenly, he remembers something from his past life as a human. He remembers the layout of the building and realizes that he can use it to his advantage.

JASON
(to himself)
I know what to do.

CUT TO:

INT. APARTMENT – NIGHT

Jason runs into the apartment and jumps onto the bed where his love interest, EMILY, is sleeping. He meows loudly, trying to wake her up.

JASON
Meow! Meow!

Emily wakes up, startled and confused.

EMILY
What’s going on?

JASON
Meow! Meow!

Emily looks down and sees Jason, now fully transformed into a cat.

EMILY
Jason? Is that you?

JASON
Meow!

Emily realizes what has happened and quickly gets out of bed.

EMILY
We have to get out of here.

CUT TO:

INT. HALLWAY – NIGHT

Jason leads Emily through the building, using his knowledge of the layout to avoid the ghosts. They run into the building manager, MR. CHEN, who is also being haunted by the ghosts.

MR. CHEN
What’s going on?

EMILY
We have to get out of here. The ghosts are after us.

MR. CHEN
I know a way out. Follow me.

INT. BASEMENT – NIGHT

Jason, Emily, and Mr. Chen make their way to the basement, where they find a trapdoor leading to the outside. They open the trapdoor and climb out, just as the ghosts catch up to them.

GHOST 1
You can’t escape us.

JASON
Meow!

Suddenly, the trapdoor slams shut, trapping the ghosts inside.

JASON (CONT’D)
Meow! Meow!

Emily and Mr. Chen look at Jason in amazement, realizing that he has led the ghosts into a trap.

EMILY
Jason, how did you know?

JASON
Meow!

Mr. Chen looks at Jason with newfound respect.

MR. CHEN
You’re a smart little cat.

CUT TO:

INT. APARTMENT – DAY

The next day, Jason and Emily are sitting on the windowsill, looking out at the city below. Jason meows happily, content with his new life as a cat.

JASON (to himself)
What the hell just happened? Why am I a cat?

Jason looks down and sees that he is now a small black cat. He tries to meow, but only a faint meep comes out.

JASON (to himself)
I need to find out what’s going on.

Jason starts to wander around the building, trying to make sense of his new form and his surroundings. As he explores, he realizes that the building is haunted by ghosts. He sees them lurking in the shadows, whispering to each other.

JASON (to himself)
I need to protect her. She’s in danger.

Jason remembers his love interest, a woman who lives in the building. He knows that she is in danger and decides to protect her at all costs. He uses his unique abilities as a cat to navigate the building and evade the ghosts.

JASON (to himself)
I need to lead them into a trap.
