Hoang and the cats sneak into an abandoned apartment in the building. They find a group of supernatural beings performing a ritual.

Nguyen Hoang meows and nuzzles her hand, confirming her suspicions. Nguyen Mai hugs him, tears streaming down her face.

NGUYEN MAI
(crying)
I can’t believe it. You’re back. You’re really back.

Nguyen Hoang meows, happy to be reunited with his beloved girlfriend.

As the battle rages on, Hoang notices a cat watching from the shadows. This cat is larger and more muscular than the others, with a scar above its left eye.

(to the other cats)
Take care of the rest. I’ll handle this one.

The other cats nod and continue fighting as Hoang approaches the scarred cat.

HOANG
(angrily)
You! You’re the one responsible for my death, aren’t you?

SCARRED CAT
(smiling)
Ah, so you figured it out. Yes, I orchestrated the whole thing. And now, I control the supernatural forces in this building.

HOANG
(determined)
Not for long. I won’t let you hurt Mai or anyone else.

Hoang and the scarred cat engage in a fierce battle. The scarred cat is strong, but Hoang is quick and agile. They claw and bite at each other, knocking over furniture and breaking windows.

Finally, Hoang gains the upper hand and pins the scarred cat to the ground.

HOANG
(victorious)
It’s over. You’re done.

SCARRED CAT
(defeated)
You may have won this battle, but the war is far from over. There are other supernatural forces out there, and they won’t stop until they get what they want.

Hoang looks around at the destruction and the other cats, who are now victorious.

(to the other cats)

Hoang jumps down from the windowsill and walks over to the door, watching as Mai disappears down the hallway.

Hoang turns and walks back into the apartment, disappearing from view.

The camera pans up to reveal a small apartment building in Ho Chi Minh City. The building looks old and rundown, with broken windows and peeling paint. A cat is seen sitting on the windowsill of one of the apartments.

INT. APARTMENT – NIGHT

The camera enters the apartment through the window and we see Nguyen Hoang, a young man in his early twenties, sitting on the couch with his girlfriend, Nguyen Mai. They are watching TV together.

NGUYEN HOANG
(laughing)
This show is ridiculous.

NGUYEN MAI
(smiling)
I know, but it’s entertaining.

Suddenly, there is a loud noise outside. Hoang gets up to investigate.

NGUYEN HOANG
(to Mai)
Stay here, I’ll be right back.

Hoang walks towards the door, but before he can reach it, there is a loud explosion. The building shakes and debris falls from the ceiling. Hoang is hit by a falling piece of concrete and falls to the ground.

INT. AFTERLIFE – NIGHT

Hoang wakes up in a strange place. He looks around and sees that he is surrounded by other cats.

CAT 1
(welcoming)

Get out of here! I’ll handle this.

The lost souls run away as Hoang continues to fight the demons. He eventually defeats them and they disappear in a puff of smoke.

Hoang is seen walking away from the building, covered in scratches and bruises.

HOANG
(to himself)
This is going to be a lot harder than I thought.

The city is alive with the sounds of traffic and people. We see a small apartment building in the distance.

Nguyen Hoang, a hardworking student, is studying at his desk. Nguyen Mai, his girlfriend, is sitting on the couch, reading a book.

Time flies when you’re in love.

Suddenly, the building shakes violently. Nguyen Hoang and Nguyen Mai look at each other in fear.

We need to get out of here!

They rush to the door, but it won’t budge. The building continues to shake, and debris falls from the ceiling.

Nguyen Hoang wakes up to find himself in a strange place. He looks down and sees that he is now a cat.

We’ll help you, but you need to promise us that you’ll stop them for good.

Nguyen Hoang looks out the window and sees the other animals in the afterlife, watching over them.

The animals nod in agreement and prepare for battle. Hoang takes the lead, using his agility and quick reflexes to dodge attacks and strike back at the minions.

As the battle rages on, Hoang notices something strange about the new threat. It seems to be controlled by a group of humans who are using the afterlife for their own gain.

(to the animals)
We have to find the humans controlling this thing. They’re the real threat.

The animals split up, using their unique abilities to search for the humans. Hoang uses his heightened senses to track down their scent.

Finally, they find the humans and confront them. Hoang steps forward, ready to take them down.

HOANG
(to the humans)
You’ve been using the afterlife for your own selfish purposes. That ends now.

The humans sneer at Hoang and his allies, but they are no match for the combined strength of the animals. In the end, justice is served, and the balance of the supernatural world is restored.

HOANG
(to the animals)
We did it. We brought justice to the afterlife.

The animals cheer, and Hoang looks up at the night sky, feeling a sense of peace and closure.

HOANG (V.O.)
I may have been reincarnated as a cat, but I still had a purpose. And in the end, I fulfilled it. I protected the ones I loved and brought justice to the afterlife.

Hoang wakes up in his new form as a cat. He blinks his eyes and stretches his paws, trying to come to terms with his situation. He jumps off the bed and tries to communicate with Mai, his girlfriend, who is sitting at the kitchen table.

HOANG

Mai looks at him quizzically but can’t understand what he’s saying.

MAI
What’s wrong, kitty?

Hoang meows again, frustrated that he can’t communicate with her.

Hoang explores the apartment building, jumping from one windowsill to another. He senses a malevolent presence and his fur stands on end. He hears a faint whispering in the distance and follows the sound.

Hoang enters an abandoned apartment and sees a ghostly figure in the corner. He hisses and arches his back, ready to defend himself. The figure disappears, and Hoang is left alone in the dark.

Hoang returns to Mai and jumps onto her lap, seeking comfort. Mai strokes his fur and smiles.

MAI
You’re such a cute kitty. I wish I knew what you were thinking.

Hoang looks up at her with his big, green eyes and meows softly.

Suddenly, a loud noise startles the cats. They scatter in all directions, but Hoang stays put, curious.

Hoang sees a ghostly figure materialize in front of him. It’s a woman in a white dress, with long black hair and a sad expression on her face. She floats in the air, her feet not touching the ground.

I had heard rumors about Mrs. Nguyen. Some said she was a witch, others said she was a ghost. I didn’t know what to believe, but I knew I had to talk to her.

Hoang runs up to Mrs. Nguyen and meows loudly, trying to get her attention. Mrs. Nguyen ignores him and continues walking.

Hoang jumps onto a bookshelf and starts to explore. He knocks over a stack of books, revealing a hidden door. He pushes it open and finds himself in a small library filled with ancient tomes and mysterious artifacts.

HOANG (to himself)
Wow, I never knew this was here.

He jumps onto a table and starts to paw through the books. One catches his eye: “The Art of Reincarnation.” He flips through the pages and reads a passage.

HOANG (to himself)
Wait a minute…could this be why I was targeted?

Suddenly, a ghostly figure appears in front of him. It’s the same ghost that attacked him before. Hoang hisses and backs away, but the ghost advances.

GHOST
You don’t belong here, cat. Leave now, or suffer the consequences.

Hoang jumps off the table and runs towards the door, but the ghost blocks his path. Hoang hisses and arches his back, ready to fight.

I won’t let you hurt me or anyone else in this building!

The ghost lunges at Hoang, but he dodges and runs out the door. He jumps onto the fire escape and looks back at the building, panting.

HOANG (to himself)
I need to find out more about this reincarnation stuff…and fast.

He jumps down to the ground and runs off into the night, determined to uncover the truth and protect his loved ones.

EXT. ABANDONED BUILDING – NIGHT

Hoang, in his cat form, cautiously approaches the entrance of the abandoned building. He looks around, making sure no one is watching him. He takes a deep breath and enters the building.

Hoang walks through the dark and eerie hallway, his senses on high alert. He hears strange noises and sees shadows moving in the corners of his eyes. He jumps at every sound, but he keeps moving forward.

Hoang reaches the end of the hallway and finds a door. He scratches at it, hoping someone will answer. After a few moments, the door creaks open, revealing a dimly lit room.

Hoang cautiously enters the room and sees a large, fluffy cat sitting on a cushion. The cat looks up at him and meows.

MR. WHISKERS
Hello, young one. What brings you here?

HOANG
I need your help. I’m new to this form, and I don’t know how to protect my girlfriend and the building from the supernatural forces that haunt it.

MR. WHISKERS
Ah, I see. You’re a reincarnated soul, aren’t you? Well, you’ve come to the right place. I can teach you everything you need to know about the feline world and the supernatural world.

Hoang nods eagerly.

This is why the building is haunted. The ghost wants revenge on Mr. Nguyen.

Hoang decides to confront Mr. Nguyen and expose his corruption. He sneaks into Mr. Nguyen’s office and starts to search for evidence.

INT. MR. NGUYEN’S OFFICE – DAY

Hoang searches through Mr. Nguyen’s files and finds a ledger detailing his illegal activities. He takes a photo of the ledger with his phone and starts to leave, but he is caught by Mr. Nguyen’s goons.

GOON 1
What are you doing here, cat?

GOON 2
He’s probably spying on us for Mrs. Nguyen.

Hoang tries to escape, but the goons catch him and beat him up. They leave him for dead in an alleyway.

INT. ALLEYWAY – DAY

Hoang lies on the ground, battered and bruised. He sees a vision of Mr. Whiskers, the wise old cat who had trained him.

MR. WHISKERS
You have learned well, young one. But there is still much to do.

Hoang realizes that he needs to use his new form to its fullest potential if he wants to protect Mai and expose Mr. Nguyen’s corruption. He gets up and limps away, determined to continue his mission.

Hoang, in his cat form, sneaks into the parking lot of the businessman’s office building. He jumps onto a nearby car and then onto a window ledge, peering inside. He sees the businessman sitting at his desk, surrounded by stacks of papers.

HOANG (V.O.)
I have to find evidence to stop this man from destroying our home.

Hoang jumps down from the window ledge and sneaks into the building through an open window. He makes his way through the darkened office, using his heightened senses to avoid detection.

CUT TO:

INT. BUSINESSMAN’S OFFICE – NIGHT

Hoang creeps along the floor, staying low to avoid being seen. He sees a file cabinet in the corner of the room and makes his way over to it. He jumps onto the top of the cabinet and begins to paw at the drawers.

HOANG (V.O.)
Come on, come on. There has to be something here.

Suddenly, the door to the office bursts open and two of the businessman’s goons enter, guns drawn.

GOON 1
There he is! Get him!

Hoang jumps off the cabinet and runs for the window. The goons chase after him, firing their guns. Hoang leaps out the window just as a bullet grazes his tail.

CUT TO:

EXT. ALLEYWAY – NIGHT

Hoang lands on the ground and runs down the alleyway, the goons hot on his tail. He jumps onto a dumpster and then onto a fire escape, climbing up to the roof.

HOANG (V.O.)
That was too close. I need to be more careful.

Hoang looks out over the city, taking in the lights and sounds.

HOANG (V.O.)
I need to come up with a plan. I can’t just keep running and hoping for the best.

Hoang sits down on the roof, deep in thought.

EXT. APARTMENT BUILDING – NIGHT

Hoang, in his cat form, sits on the windowsill of Mai’s apartment, watching her as she sleeps. He jumps down and walks over to her, nudging her gently with his head.

Hoang meows softly and jumps onto the bed, curling up next to her.

Mr. Whiskers leads Hoang through the dark streets of the city, until they arrive at a rundown warehouse on the outskirts of town.

INT. WAREHOUSE – NIGHT

Hoang and Mr. Whiskers sneak into the warehouse and hide behind some crates. They watch as the corrupt businessman, MR. NGUYEN, meets with a group of shady characters.

MR. NGUYEN
I need you to take care of that cat. He’s getting too close to the truth.

SHADY CHARACTER 1
Consider it done.

MR. WHISKERS (whispering)
We need to get out of here. Nguyen has ties to the supernatural world. He’s not someone to be trifled with.

Hoang and Mr. Whiskers make their way out of the warehouse undetected, but Hoang is shaken by what he’s just heard.

The goons are gathered around a table, counting their money. Mai is tied up in the corner, her eyes wide with fear.

You should have just stayed out of this. Now you’re going to pay the price.

Suddenly, the door bursts open and the cats charge in, claws and teeth bared. The goons are caught off guard and quickly overwhelmed.

HOANG
(to Mai)
Are you okay?

MAI
(tearfully)
Yes, thank you. How did you…?

HOANG
(smiling)
Let’s just say we have some friends in high places.

The cats quickly retrieve the evidence and make their escape, leaping out of a nearby window and disappearing into the night.

EXT. ROOFTOP – NIGHT

Hoang and the cats gather on a rooftop, panting and triumphant.

HOANG
(proudly)
We did it. We saved Mai and got the evidence.

CAT 1
(amazed)
You’re a hero, Hoang.

HOANG
(surprised)

CAT 2
(nodding)

The men run away, screaming. Hoang jumps onto the windowsill and looks out at the world outside.

The ghostly cats nod in agreement.

We do know one thing. The corruption goes deeper than we thought.

Hoang looks at Mai, grateful for her support.

Hoang and the ghostly cats sneak into the office, trying to find any evidence of the businessman’s involvement in the conspiracy. They search through files and drawers, but find nothing.

There has to be something here.

Suddenly, Hoang notices a picture on the wall. It’s a group photo of the businessman and several other men, all smiling and holding champagne glasses.

HOANG
(pointing to the picture)
Who are these guys?

The ghostly cats gather around the picture, studying it.

(recognizing one of the men)
That’s the head of the construction company.

(pointing to another man)

That’s why the building collapsed.

And the businessman knew about it. He didn’t care about the safety of the people living here.

Hoang’s eyes narrow. He knows that the businessman is responsible for his death.

(determined)
We have to expose him. We have to make sure he pays for what he’s done.

Mai puts a hand on Hoang’s paw, giving him a small smile.

FADE IN:

(smiling)

(confidently)
I’m a businessman, Hoang. I do what I have to do to protect my interests. And you were a threat to those interests.

(disgusted)
You’re a monster. You killed me just to cover up your illegal activities.

BUSINESSMAN
(smiling)
And now, I’m going to kill you again.

The businessman signals his goons to attack. The cats are ready and they charge at the goons. A fierce battle ensues, with the cats using their supernatural powers to defeat the goons.

Hoang manages to get past the goons and confronts the businessman.

HOANG
(determined)
You’re not getting away with this. I’m going to make sure you pay for what you did.

BUSINESSMAN
(smiling)
You’re just a cat, Hoang. What can you do?

Hoang transforms into his human form, surprising the businessman.

The businessman tries to run, but Hoang catches him and pins him to the ground.

The businessman is taken away by the police, and Hoang and the ghostly cats watch as he is driven away.

HOANG

I know, but you have to try. You’re not human anymore, Hoang. You can’t let your emotions control you like this.

You’re right, Mai. I can’t let my anger consume me. I have to focus on finding out the truth and bringing justice to those responsible for my death.

Mai smiles at Hoang, relieved.

MAI
(hopefully)

Suddenly, the ghostly cats appear in the room, startling Mai.

The ghostly cats nod in agreement.

Hoang and the ghostly cats sneak through the dark hallways of the building. They come across a group of ghosts who are playing cards.

INT. BUSINESSMAN’S OFFICE – NIGHT

The businessman sits at his desk, surrounded by his goons and supernatural allies. He smirks as he watches the security footage of Hoang and the cats entering the building.

BUSINESSMAN
(to his goons)
Take care of those pests. And make sure they don’t leave alive.

The goons nod and grab their weapons, ready to attack.

Hoang and the cats burst into the room, claws and teeth bared. A fierce battle ensues, with the goons and supernatural allies putting up a tough fight.

Hoang leaps onto a goon’s back and sinks his teeth into his neck. The goon screams and falls to the ground, lifeless.

One of the cats, a sleek black feline, jumps onto a supernatural ally’s face and claws at his eyes. The ally howls in pain and stumbles backwards, crashing into a table.

Hoang and the cats fight with all their might, but they are outnumbered and outmatched. Hoang is injured in the fight, his fur matted with blood.

The other cats look at him with concern, but Mai rushes into the room, wielding a broomstick.

Hoang hisses and prepares to attack, but the ghostly cats hold him back.

Mai laughs and walks away, leaving Hoang to bask in the warmth of the sun.

The camera pans over a busy street in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam. People are rushing to and fro, and the sounds of honking cars and chatter fill the air. We see a young couple, HOANG and MAI, walking hand in hand towards their apartment building.

As they enter the building, strange and eerie things happen around them. The lights flicker, and they hear strange noises. Hoang and Mai brush it off as their imagination and continue to their apartment.

INT. HOANG AND MAI’S APARTMENT – DAY
